Below are five categories that we consider to be under one title of Believeitology.
Cryptozoology
The study of hidden animals or animals that do not fit into contemporary zoological catalogs. Often referred to as cryptids, some of the most popular are; Bigfoot, Mothman, Loch Ness Monster and Chupacabra.
Paranormal
Used to describe experiences that have no obvious scientific explanation. Covering many areas, the most common fall under ghosts and hauntings.
Extraterrestrial
Referring to any object or being from beyond the planet Earth. Obvious favorites are the Greys (aliens) and UFOs.
Monsters
A broad term, but used here to classify creatures with an ability to destroy humanity. Examples include; zombies, vampires, dragons, and werewolves.
Folklore
A catch-all word is used for many of the beliefs, rituals, and stories told that many don't realize such items are folklore. Examples are riddles and children's rhymes, rumors, and holiday customs; such as Santa Claus.
