Tour of the Crystal Skull

Mysteries of the Mayan Calendar and the 2012 Prophecies

What did the Mayans know about 2012? Will December 21, 2012 be the end, as we know it? Do the crystal skulls hold the answer? With so many theories on the subject as to what will happen, it was an easy decision as to a theme for the annual adventure for the team at Believe It Tour. This year you are invited to follow their journey to Belize in the heart of the Mayan culture as they seek answers to the prophecies of 2012.

“After selecting the theme, the real fun begins with doing all of the research behind the legends and then determining the best destinations for us to visit,”said Michael Esordi, founder of Believe It Tour. “One of the main factors that influenced the destination was the significance of the Crystal Skulls to the 2012 Mayan predictions. The most famous of the Crystal Skulls is the “Mitchell-Hedges Skull” or “The Skull of Doom,” which traces its story to Lubaantun, the ancient Mayan city located in southern Belize. It’s even more intriguing that such controversy surrounds the facts behind the 1924 discovery, but the story itself provides a great place for us to start.”

It’s claimed that the Skull was found by Anna Le Guillon Mitchell-Hedges, the adopted daughter of British adventurer F.A. Mitchell-Hedges, in a Mayan temple located in Lubaantun, Belize. When the Skull made its reappearance its name reflected that of the woman that found it before it became known as the “Skull of Doom.” However, the skull was recently renamed the “Skull of Love” by its new guardian and continues to inspire people with its story and power. The Belize Crystal Skull is known to have the power to retain energy and knowledge. Based on the magical properties associated with the Crystal Skull, as well as the uncertainty of what will take place on December 21, 2012, Believe It Tour’s journey to the Land of the Maya will be one not to be missed.

Believe It Tour is well known for their ability to engage their fans and involve them in creative ways. This adventure is no different. As part of this adventure a Crystal Skull Time Capsule will be created in order to preserve messages and images submitted by Believe It Tour fans. This time capsule will then travel with the team to the Mayan ruins to be tucked away in the hope it will be found one day by what or whoever inhabits the earth in the future.

From now until December 21, 2012, Believe It Tour will take you on an informative journey to prepare you for the prophecies thought to take place in 2012 . Get updates and follow along at BelieveItTour.com or facebook.com/BelieveItTour.
